A nice day for a stroll in the park

It has been very rainy in Montreal this fall, so with the first bit of sunshine, we headed out to Parc Mont Saint Bruno for a picnic and some hiking.  We brought our binoculars to get a closer look at the birds and other wildlife in the woods.

We saw on the map that there was a play area.  We then set off on our quest, down the meandering paths, in search of the swings.

5 kilometers and 2.5 hours later, there was no play park to be found.  So, we soaked up the last bit of sunshine and headed home.
