William's visit

I am 19 months old today

I am 19 months old today while James is 8 days old. Wow! I'm about 80 times older than my brother.

Mom trusts me to hold James - when I'm asleep.

Still, James does not look too sure about this arrangement.

James sunbathes on Lola's lap.

James' turn to hiccup under the mobiles.

On his fourth day - my brother has a name

Today, my Mom and Dad announced my brother's name - JAMES. In this photo collage, Mommy and Lola are teaching him how to drink like a cat from a tiny cup so he could be breastfed but he's not in any mood to learn. He would rather close his eyes and sleep. Click on the photo to enlarge it.

I finally found something else to do besides wash my hands.

Getting to know my little brother.

It's just like a party here at the hospital.

Waiting for my brother to come home

We were hoping that Mom, Dad and my brother could come home today. The doctor says he has to keep them for one more day of observation. Here's the "welcome home" sign that Tia Monica made before she left for Toronto last Friday. She didn't know the baby's name and she called him "Numba 2".

My brother's second day

Day 2 at the hospital for my brother and he looks better after being given a good bath. Still nothing interesting for me to do but wash my hands.

Mommy feels so much better today. She feels good enough to play with me again.

My brother is here!

All 7 lbs 14 ounces of him.

Our latest family picture. There are four of us now.

Tia Monica names my brother "Number 2".

It's so boring here at the hospital. Nothing to do but wash my hands.

At the playground with Lolo and Tia Monica

Just say the words "Park", "Playground" or "Go out?" and I immediately answer "Wheee!". Lolo thought I was speaking French, as in "Oui", until one time we were driving by the playground, and I pointed to the slide and said "Whee!" Watch me and Lolo go!

I usually hold on tight to the chains while on the swing. But I have to make a sign to tell Lolo that I want "More swing, please!" I can only say "More!" by signing with my fingers.

Playing megaphone with Tia Monica.

Sign #4 - "Hot!"

Lolo warns me about the stove lights being "HOT!"

I also found it "HOT!" when we arrived in Cancun last January.
