Tia Monica's Birthday

And she left me all broken-hearted and sniffling by myself

Anya went back home to Germany today.

We shared a lot of things the past few weeks. We shared toys. We took turns eating from the high chair. We even shared baby-sitters, like Tia Monica here.

Once, I even grabbed her pacifier and sucked on it. So, we also shared cold germs. We were both sick the past week. And here I am, left alone crying and sniffling all by myself after she was gone.

My One-Year Old Photo

My Mom took me to a photo studio a few days after my first birthday but they couldn't take a good photo of me. I was crying so hard. We had to make a second appointment but still I cried. This was on the second appointment, one of the few pictures where I was not crying.

Skating at the Old Port

There's not much ice and snow this winter. Here's where there's a little bit of ice outdoors - at the Old Port of Montreal. Went with my Mom, Dad, Tia Monica and Jorg.

Time to burn off all the holiday cheer

I have seen Lolo Phil do this. It can't be that hard. Watch how I do it (video).

And how the pros do it (video).
