My nice new car!

My Mom's friend, the car broker, brought us a nice new car last night. We can't drive it yet because of some missing paperwork. See it parked on our driveway with no license tags.



Also yesterday, Lolo sold his ugly, old car. He is driving it today for the last time. He also has to do some paperwork tomorrow to transfer the ownership. This car is 22 years old and it was very hard to install the child seats in it for me and James.

With the new car, we can now all fit in one car - Daddy, Mommy, James and me and even Lolo, Lola, Tia Monica - even with two baby seats installed. We can all go together in one car the next time we have to drive Grandpa and Grandma to the airport.

(There were some tears and a little bit of crying at the airport after Grandma and Granpa left but I won't tell you who cried. It wasn't Mommy.)

My 3rd birthday.

Today is my birthday. I can now raise three fingers when asked my age.

2008 - Trick or treat

Red Trike and Blue Car

James only started walking in early July. During Jose's birthday party, July 12th, James got handed down Jose's old blue car. At first, he used it like a walker - something to lean on and push while he was learning to walk. James' walking ability improved so fast with the help of that "blue car". Just look at him running with it now!

It seems like we've been everywhere together during the past summer - James with his blue car and me with my red trike.
