Spring 2008

It was a warm spring Sunday after we came back from Calgary.



The weather has turned cooler but it's time to try my trike outdoors. I still have to get the hang of using these pedals.



Forget the pedals, it's easier to just push off with my legs.

Meanwhile, James plays indoors. He has learned to climb up and down the stairs.



He is also learning to walk by pushing on the blue hippo. I still like riding my 'ellow car.

Having fun in Vancouver

We went to visit Uncle Paul's place and there I made a new friend, Mortimer.

Then, we walked down the beach and we went on a boat! Our first boat ride! It was fun!

The boat took us to Granville Island where we had lots of fun at the Kids' Market!

Road Trip...Day 2

After a good night's rest in Vernon, BC, we met with some cousins in Kelowna and had lunch at a lakeside resort.

Finally made it to Vancouver, just in time to have supper with Uncle Paul and Auntie Amanda at the rooftop resto of our hotel.

Heading out to Vancouver...Day 1

We took 2 days to drive down to the West coast. Our first stop in the Rocky Mountains was in Field, British Columbia.

There was also an exhibit on teeth and how to become a dentist. James is trying out a pretend dental chair.

Sightseeing in Banff

It's a windy day in Banff, but that doesn't keep us from touring the town!


After having brunch at the Banff Springs Hotel, we went for a dip on the hot springs pool. It was nice swimming in a hot pool (not like our pool at home!)

Seeing a lion's share of Cow Town!

HI! I'm so excited because we just arrived in Calgary and our first stop was the Calgary zoo! We saw many animals, like lions, tigers and bears! OH MY! That's a giraffe behind me. It looks just like my squeaky toy!

This was the highlight of Nathan's day, riding on the back of a lion! Just like Simba!

Going to see Ah-ma, Ah-pa and Ah-bada

We're off on a plane for the 4 1/2 hour ride to Calgary.

It was really exciting to see all the planes!

Ah-ma and Ah-pa were at the airport to greet us when we arrived.Here we are in front of a horsey sculpture near the baggage claim.

I found Nemo!

I visited Tia Monica today and found Nemo in her bedroom! Dressed in boots and my rain slicks, I tried to take him swimming with me in the mud puddles.
